35MM CASTING BRIEF
THANK YOU FOR AUDITIONING. AUDITIONS ARE CLOSED NOW
Founded in 2018, BroadwayMania is an organization of members from all over the world. Our mission is to make theatre more of an international, collective experience where performance artists can engage and collaborate with a wider net of people who share their passion for the arts - from all walks of life, with varying cultures, backgrounds and experiences. There is an entire world of artists outside of your neighborhood theatre community that you may never get to work with otherwise - BroadwayMania strives to create a safe space for those artists to meet and make art together.
We are committed to diversity and promoting a positive model of inclusion. We encourage performers of all ethnicities and gender identities, as well as performers with disabilities, to audition.
Anyone interested should read the information and follow the instructions below to submit for this production.
35mm: A Musical Exhibition is presented by BroadwayMania in arrangement with Concord Theatricals
“Oh, a life stopped in pose in a world that never goes…”
A picture is worth 1,000 words — what about a song? Can a picture inspire a song or fifteen? In 35mm, each photo creates a unique song, moments frozen in time; a glimmer of a life unfolding, a glimpse of something happening. A stunning new multimedia musical which explores a groundbreaking new concept in musical theatre... This intricately woven collection of stories told through song reimagines what the modern American musical can be.
35mm: A Musical Exhibition is written by Ryan Scott Oliver and based on the photography of Matthew Murphy.
